Report 02 - Coping, Support & Resources

Focus of Report

The aim of this report is to provide descriptive data on coping, access to resources and support in the CoIN sample during the Covid-19 pandemic. This report contains the data of 159 parents/carers who completed the baseline survey in May-October 2020. Data presented is calculated as a percentage of the total number of complete responses for each individual survey item. 

Key Findings
  • The majority of families supported each other, and most families were able to deal with difficulties during the pandemic. 

  • Key areas parents would like support with include managing their child's education, behaviour and emotions, caring for their child and accessing healthcare.   

  • Parents would prefer to receive support via online written material, online parent support groups and webinars/podcasts
